Do you know anyone sickly talented in these fields but requiring a crowbar applied to them before they would submit anything? Then please be informed of, and inform anyone interested in these sorts of things about GLORY! the Creative Arts Web'zine. http://grace.wharton.upenn.edu/users/shelton/valkyrie.html (under major construction, view currently for info now) Three issues are coming out this semester (March, April, and May) with the first deadline being 17FEB95. We'd appreciate comments on how to make it an enjoyable site and are looking for the layout-gifted and technically oriented to aid us in this endevour. We're soliciting art in many different ways. We are posting fliers all over thiss university and others as well as posting to newsgroups. Where else could I post this? I don't use newsgroups often. How can I offer a message to the moderators of upenn.announce? Does anyone have contacts at other colleges and universities in Philadelphia that can help us publicize the web'zine? Can anyone suggest other institutions from which works should be solicited? Does anyone have an idea for a good name? We are actually going to let the final decision be made by the viewers themselves by automatic e-voting!; sort of a fun example of interactive "democracy". Some ideas that have been thrown out are: Valkyrie, Glory!, Ho-bie (pronounced like flowbie), Wanderlust, and the Hungry Eye.
