I’m sorry not to have been able to take part in this but there was no way to be in Milan this weekend as I’m leaving for two weeks in the US. Dario was a good friend and a fine poet: I remember him with great affection.

Bill Berkson kindly forwarded me a pdf file of an interview with Anselm Hollo in VORT magazine back in 1972. Barry Alpert, whose magazine it was, was early in on that area. I remember going to meet him across snowy fields outside Bloomington where he lived in a trailer surrounded by what he said was every rock album up to then: I had no reason to doubt. Barry is still extant. I saw him in Washington DC a little over a year ago. He had had a bookshop that was firebombed, the story went.

Here is the file.
