Originally from Île de la Réunion, France, Didier Clain has studied at the École Supérieur des Beaux-Arts de St Étienne under François Mechain and is currently in the Masters degree program at the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts (Philadelphia). In January 2006 Clain started an internship with international artist Osvaldo Romberg. Clain lives and works in Philadelphia, St Étienne, and La Réunion.
